| So do you use this dressing on your salad or not? I do, but not that often. I use it once in a while albeit. Most importantly, do you like it? Do you know of it? So do you use this dressing on your salad or not? By the way, its Mexican, just so you know.

| I had no idea it was mexican, hahah, I feel so ignorant. That's awesome! I don't have it often. I like it, but I don't usually consume salad dressers.

"The salad's creation is generally attributed to restaurateur Caesar Cardini, an Italian immigrant who operated restaurants in Mexico and the United States. Cardini was living in San Diego but also working in Tijuana where he avoided the restrictions of Prohibition. His daughter Rosa (1928–2003) recounted that her father invented the dish when a Fourth of July 1924 rush depleted the kitchen's supplies. Cardini made do with what he had, adding the dramatic flair of the table-side tossing "by the chef." A number of Cardini's staff have claimed to have invented the dish." | I have been reading about this since you mentioned it. Some versions differ whether it was an improvisation for his close friends or potential group of costumers but it seems like indeed it was created in Tijuana and because of the USA celebration. After all Tijuana is a border city, so it comes to little surprise someone living in USA operated franchises in both cities.
I find cool this man came up with such a dresser.

| Yeah, they do. Well, I guess this one fall in the grey area, an Italian man living in the USA comes with it in Tijuana, Mexico. It depends on who you ask to consider it Mexican or not. It was fun investigating, now we know something new. :=p: I will try to buy Caesar salad and sauce next time I have the chance.
