Decir 'perfecto' es mentir y decir 'mañana' es predecir...

PostSubject: Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Hot Sandwich   Sat 24 Nov 2012, 9:38 pm

Well, playing the sims 3 I noticed one morning recipe option was preparing this, since I have never tried frying the banana or combining it with Peanut butter jelly, I was wondering if any of you had, or if this dish was made up by the game, which i know it is very little likely, as none of the other dishes seem to be.

What I wasn't expecting was that this Recipe was called "Evis Presley's".

Anyway according to the Recipe I found you simply...
  1. Put the bread in your toaster to toast lightly.
  2. Meanwhile with a fork turn a banana into mash or cut in thin slices.
  3. Spread peanut butter in one side of both pieces
  4. Spread the banana in one of the sides on top of the peanut and close your sandwich
  5. Brown your sandwich in a hot skillet flipping each side every few minutes
  6. Slice and enjoy!

There is a variant called "Paula's". It is similar, but you don't toast the bread and you grill your whole sandwich with butter and once is ready you shower it in sugar and cinnamon powder.

Perhaps. When I started the topic it was to ask who of you have had it, but I got carried away. I was considering put the recipe in spoiler tags for the same reason. Depending of what I decide I might move it. :3

Anyway, back on the sandwiches I want to try it out sometime. Looks fun. boogie

No way i have to try that but to me it looks disgusting as peanut butter sandwitches are my favorites but with bananas on who came up with that

Not sure if Elvis Presley's mum did or was a typical dish even before.

I tried this and liked it but I can see why the mixture sounds weird. Banana and peanut sound okay to me, however some variations of this sandwich includes beacon too! Beacon and banana or beacon and peanuts sound weirder to me.
