| I thought in going back to the basics tonight and longed for a dish I didn't care for as much while I lived in mexico, thus I went on to read about how to prepare it and most sites have variations from the following memory which is partly constructed from memory and partly from other websites such as foods dot com and recetas de guacamole. Enjoy! Ingredients: 2 Avocados (avoid the hard ones that look greenish outside and the ones that feel too soft) Half a chopped onion Half a lime 1 diced Tomato A pinch of salt Cilantro Directions:
- Cut the avocados and get their chunks into a blender or manually press them into a purée.
- Finely cut the onion, cilantro, tomato and then add them and mix them with the avocado.
- Squeeze lime into the bowl, add salt and mix them.
I excluded the jalapeño but you can also add toasted or preserved jalapeño diced and mixed if you don't have kids or prefer your guacamole to be spicy.
