how often do you use internet talk in real life? I say OMG or LOL or something..or FAIL at times..though I know it completely is weird and funny at the same time..

i'm completely guilty of it..lmao

and what kind of internet phrases do you use?

When I watch a Flash video or some other funny stuff I like I tend to mimic all their phrases and I am just the same way with internet slang.

one thing from the internet i used to do all the time offline was point to myself in my mind if someone was talking about something that referred to something i did or thought.

i used to hang out in AOL chatrooms all the time and i would use that

to point to my screenname, it was funny

I still do that, specially in boards like this, where your mini profile is in the left of your messages.

Many times I visit some days after and they messed with the layout and the mini profile is now at the top or the right side. I guess then it doesn't make much sense.

Internet talk in real life..yea, I do that a lot these days. XD But mostly when I am relaxing causally and talking with friends. If I am in a business setting I don't.

HAAAAAAXXX!!! (I seem to like saying that in certain video game joke situations, especially after I heard that from Dr.Hax funny Gary's mod video.)

There are a few other internet slang/talk friends and I use when we're in a casual setting and chatting. Though if you actually heard us talking you'd probably think its some very random comedy routine instead of a typical conversation with buddies.

All I really say in real life is 'Lol'.

When I am in trust or people that I know get the references or know the internetz I tend to use some expressions for example:

I say "FAIL" or do "facepalms". I can do a OMGWTFBBQ (I pronounce their meanings really quickly instead of saying the letters, i am used to that) just to break silence or when I have no much to say but my friends seems excited so i join in with that.

I also had with my brother the "a wizard did it" as well as flash and videos quotes. xD
Though I don't do it with people not use to internet or not really open for that kind of talk.

"lol, internetz" is another I use after I am done sharing that funny, crazy, and/or dumb stuff that happened with my day while being online.

Man, this reminds me of the last party went to. We talked so many pokemon and other references.
The best memory have happened when we were in the courtyard and a guy was joking about killing certain bloke he didn't know because he didn't know certain sci-fi reference but that was inside the house at the time.

Because I could still see his silhouette pointed "That's him". So we all started chanting his name. When he heard it like a monarch he opens the window while saluting us and just blurted out loud while the chanting was fading "It's a trap!". It was so well timed received some claps. It felt awesome!

I never use these in real life, when people do around me I find them wired and it embarrasses me because of how retarded it is when you could just laugh instead of Lol.

I don't use it in real life, except when I'm making fun of people who do.

While I'd probably be the kind of people you target... I find funny people that say "LoL" constantly.
I'm also slow getting acronyms so when people use them too often I end up taking ages desciphering what they meant.
