| I think nowadays many people use Skype for instant messaging, but I still have friends in Yahoo messenger also. In my opinion Yahoo is quite better, especially in the offline message function, whereas in Skype two people have to be online both to see the offline messages. Do you use Yahoo messenger?

i didn't know we both had to be online in order to see offline message sin Skype. It is the first time hear it, then again it could be one of those recent changes after Microsoft bought it. used to like MSN the best, but Skype strength has always been the video-calls. MSN & AIM both would be pretty bad at times when calling my friend. For text messages Yahoo and MSN were more versatile. Into the question think Yahoo messenger was pretty underrated. The game activities and the smilies were really cool. - brutus wrote:

Yeah. I left AIM for MSN now with the merge rarely enter because don't really like Skype and everybody seems to prefer Facebook anyway.
